	Dr. Sandeep Walia

		West Metro Dental is pleased to welcome Dr. Sandeep Walia, a graduate of the University of Western Ontario as a valued member to our dental family. We are confident that he will help to bring our office to new heights in patient care in the coming years. As an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for almost 10 years, he has developed a keen interest in smile enhancement procedures & implants. Apart from cosmetic procedures he will be providing INVISALIGN [clear braces for malpositioned or crooked teeth], ORAL CONSCIOUS SEDATION [for very apprehensive patients] & DENTAL IMPLANTS. 	Dr. David Litner

		Dr. David Litner graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is the founding dentist of West Metro Dental Centre. Dr. Litner is experienced in all areas of general dentistry holding a special interest in cosmetic & implant dentistry. He is a long standing member of the Toronto Implant Study Club, over the years has been affiliated with the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Toronto Endodontic Study Club, and Ontario Study Club for Osseointegration, and is past president of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity (Pi Chapter). He has served on staff of the Dental Department of Etobicoke General Hospital and currently serves as dental claims consultant for NexgenRx Inc. His gentle nature is one of the prime reasons that he has been nominated for “Best Dentist” in the Etobicoke Guardian’s People’s Choice Awards. Dr. Litner’s hobbies include cycling, downhill and cross-country skiing, golf, antique furniture finishing and wine collecting. He is actively involved in fundraising for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and MS Bike Tours.

	Dr. H. S. Sandhu (Periodontist)

		West Metro Dental is honoured to welcome the highly acclaimed periodontist, Dr. H. S. Sandhu, to our team. Dr. Sandhu is the director of Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Western Ontario. We sincerely thank him for devoting his precious time by providing leading edge gum and periodontal services for our valued patients. He will be available at our office one Friday per month from 9 am to 5 pm. Apart from regular periodontal consultations he will be performing the following procedures: - APF, pocket reduction flap procedure - soft tissue/connective tissue grafting to cover denuded root surfaces - correction of gummy smiles - crown lengthening - papilla regeneration

	Dr. Reena Talwar (Oral Surgeon)

		Dr. Reena Talwar is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in 1990, she then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1994. She also holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences and has specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Talwar’s clinical practice is focused on dental extractions, implants, bone grafting and sedation. Her extensive body of knowledge ensures that her surgical skills and sedation techniques are performed safely and using the most up-to-date principles and technology. A lifelong advocate of higher education, Dr. Talwar is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, where she is the Course Director for Gross Anatomy and Head and Neck Anatomy, at the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry. She has published numerous scientific articles ranging from principles of Wisdom Tooth extractions to Computer Technologies related to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is also an active lecturer in Implantology and Oral Surgery.

	Dr. Priya Rabheru

		Dr. Priya Rabheru graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the Schulich School of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. Prior to entering dental school, Priya completed an Honours degree in Biology at U.W.O. Priya enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but has a keen interest in pediatrics. She participated in a dental mentorship program where she worked closely with Child Life Specialists in a pediatric dental environment, and she brings this experience with her to West Metro Dental. She volunteers as a mentor for dental students, as well as being an interviewer for the Schulich School of Dentistry admissions committee. Priya has been a volunteer dentist in a community dental outreach program in London, Ontario, where the organization provided free dental care to underprivileged city residents. Outside of dentistry, she has completed her certification in East Indian classical dance, and continues to maintain her passion for dance by performing at various cultural events.
